I don't think so. Stephen Hunter in his books about Bob Lee Swagger wrote about Blue Eye AR but stated in an interview the name of the actual town he was writing about was Mena AR. Mena is about 35 miles west of Pencil Bluff where I live. Nice little town. This is a great series of books incidentally.
