I spent about 30 minutes on the phone with Jim this

afternoon. He was in surgery for 6 hours on his back and has had a lot of spinal parts repaired or replaced. He was in his hospital room when he called me let us know he is doing well, all considering. He had several bones including arm, ribs and clavical repaired and was doing well. He starts doing physical therapy tomorrow, which was surprising to me.
Jim is a tough old bird and will pull through all this in no time at all. He said to tell all of you thanks for the thoughts and prayers. Jim is amazing. To have all the damage done to his body and less than a full day he was sitting in a chair in his hospital room, talking on the phone. I wish I could be that strong.
Keep up all the prayers. They work.
