I've found that the weight of the bullet is important. lighter bullet weights often cause misfeeds. Use larger bullets and you should have no issues.

I have one and once you find i'ts favoite ammo

mine shoots the Horndy Critical Defense very well. I have several 22 Mag pistols and they all like the Critical Defense ammo.

Several guys here have them. So light, good sights,

And that firepower! Loading the mag correctly is critical. Flat tip or HP 40-45 gr. Ammo is a winner in mine. Some guys have issues with springy mag latches or goofy feed ramp issues. The aftermarket has remedies for both. Mines great as is. A favorite trail gun.

i'm going to try to get out to the range next week and shoot it. i just went through my ammo locker and found 2 boxes of 45g hornady critical defense, a box of cci maxi mag 40g fmj and a partial box of amscore 40g jhp .so at least i have a few loads to test . i like the feel,30 round mags and the light weight of the prm 30
