The Win. 67, like the Iver Johnson model X, and some of the economy Savage-Stevens models, uses the barrel blank as the receiver too. I just think that is so cool, smart. It actually has no receiver, or the barrel is the receiver. However you want to figure it. I guess they had it figured out how to manage the headspace fitment. Originally they have very long 27" barrels. The little bolt blocking wing safety is the only cheesy looking part to me, but it is simple and totally effective.
