This one you don`t see to often... She is a S&W model 60 in 357 with a 5" barrel that was written up by Jeff Quinn in a 2005 article on Gun Blast as a perfect Kit Gun... I will say that packin the gun is a tiny bit awkward with its long barrel when compared to the 2 and 3 inch barrels on the standard m- 60`s... Its a very light gun when compared to a m-19 or 66 and still gives the magnum option.... The only thing I did was to replace the grips to fit my hand. The single action breaks at 2 1/2 pounds... Please excuse the quality of the photo. Here is the article- https://www.gunblast.com/SW60_KitGun.htm

I think a buddy of mine has a 4”? Otherwise

The same? Maybe it’s 3”? It goes everywhere with him. He raises cattle. Two CCI snake shots and 3 JHP. I have a Ruger SP101 in .357 with better Novac type sights. Painful to shoot Magnums but probably easier than your J. It’s just such a chunk, but nice. My wife carries a M60 snubby, she’s just a wheelgun girl. Her house rig is a 3” 657! Or an AK, 870. We are hillbillies you know. We keep (2) AKs and a 870 loaded over by the piano. lol everybody in the house knows. We also keep a basket full of handguns under the kitchen cabinet. Pick what you want to carry to town. SIG, S&W, Taurus whatever suits the need.
