The more precise and effective the method the more costly. I used a SxS muzzleloading shotgun with round balls once. I could do pretty good to 50 yds. or so. Provided I didn’t load it too hot (80-100 grs. FFg). Nominally the barrels shot to the same place about 30-40 yds., then the projectiles crossed! The farther from that the farther the left shot right and the right shot left. At 100 yds. It shot 4’ left and 4’ to the right. Loaded with more powder (higher velocity) they crossed closer and spread farther. Quite the situation. But I learned a bunch.
