Regulation is the big deal. Various methods

The more precise and effective the method the more costly. I used a SxS muzzleloading shotgun with round balls once. I could do pretty good to 50 yds. or so. Provided I didn’t load it too hot (80-100 grs. FFg). Nominally the barrels shot to the same place about 30-40 yds., then the projectiles crossed! The farther from that the farther the left shot right and the right shot left. At 100 yds. It shot 4’ left and 4’ to the right. Loaded with more powder (higher velocity) they crossed closer and spread farther. Quite the situation. But I learned a bunch.

If I remember correctly the rear sights are two flip up

Blades but not in the conventional sense where they are two different ranges. There is one for each barrel, that way they don’t have to charge for regulating the barrels

Sounds like a good, simple solution.
