Book Suggestion

I just finished reading John Boessenecker's RIDE THE DEVIL'S HERD. This is the story of the Earp's battle with the "cowboys" in the 1800's.

I have read quite a few books on the subject and I have to say this is the most well researched book I have ever read. The author follows the lives of most of the "players" from their early days. He tells the good, the bad and the ugly, demonstrating clearly what went on and how.

It is not a "Wyatt Earp Hero" book. The human side of the major figures involved is laid out pretty clearly.

I highly recommend this book for those who are interested in the subject.
