3 storms coming our way`

The first one was very unusual in that it was an ice storm. Winds hitting 50 to 55 mph with ice. Then thru the night it changed to all ice, which just doesn't happen in northern AZ. This morning everything was iced over. I had to beat the locks off the chicken's pens. The chickens didn't want to come out at all. Don't blame them.
We had some cats or other critter get in their enclosure over night. Whatever it was came early last evening, then again this morning. I have 8 foot chain link fencing and I have seen several cats in there several times. They go in the chicken's houses to get at the mice. They don't bother the chickens but have a great time with the mice. I have seen 6 to 7 mice at one time when I open the doors to the chicken houses. This time they couldn't get in the chicken's houses. The chickens hold a mouse own with their feet and peck the mouse to death. When the mouse is just mush the chickens swallow it whole.
I don't mind the snow but I hate the ice. Everything was iced over completely.
This storm is supposed to continue thru late tonight and then stop for a couple of hours. The second storm is supposed to hit early tomorrow morning with mostly snow. They say somewhere around a foot of snow and some ice.
The 3rd storm is supposed to hit late midday tomorrow and be heavy snow. We'll see.

Storm #2 started late last evening and is still in progress.

The wind is running a minimum of 50 MPH. The drifts of blowing snow are well over knee deep. The wind is running right out of the west. Our driveway is right at 65 yards long and that is the longest 65 yards I have walked in a good while.

One of our pups is just a fur ball but wherever I go she is right there with me. The snow drifts were over her head. She is 8 or 9 months old and she is my buddy.
