I have only seen the one Double Auto and I bought it just for kicks. I saw and still see no reason for that shotgun to exist and why one would limit themselves to 2 shots. The only thing I can figure is some odd probably northeastern state must have put a limit of 2 rounds in the gun oe maybe even Canada. Reminds me of John Wick speedloading his shotgun except in this case the speedloading would be 2 rounds.
The second one I got from an old fellow that croaked and his lady sold all his guns. And I still don't see why the old fellow would spend all the time and effort engraving all that including the Ruger logo on a Remington. He must have really enjoyed his engraving and inletting. We had just moved out here and got it in an estate. We planned on doing some varmint shooting so I gave that 722 to Colleen. It is a good shooting rifle and is accurate too. But the old fellow must have spent hours and hours engraving and inletting that stock.
