The "misfits" as a crowning achievement!

It’s probably happenstance, the coming of age with the internet, and aging “boomers” colliding. But who cares, we are a part of it! Nothing exactly like it existed quite like it before.

As to firearms; Taffin has his #5 published in his “Book of the .44” I believe. It was a .44 5-1/2” and had Diamond Dot Ivory grips. I think your #5 will be the most sought by collectors. The 5-shot DA Rugers "Mastodons" are not to be forgotten! Man I let that one of Doug's slip out of the friends circle, I couldn't afford it at the time. You produced them at a fraction of anyone else.

There are so many and unique, but to me the #5 was the most aggressive and innovative. No one else even came close. I chose a 6” barrel for mine as I determined that was the perfect visual balance, not 5.5. Mr. Taffin's looked a little snubby to me overall. Ditto my 6.5” .510 GNR #6. Perfect balance determined by design. The ability for you cater to my wishes so readily and not have to wait 2-3 years, was incredible! Another industry first.

My perfect to order Improved #5. My 44th birthday, the 100th year of the .44, my .44 Special serial no. 2007 it's year of manufacture. The .300 GNR OM is at the top, another story (the engraving hides 14 buxom breasts!). I didn't notice it for three days, until Gary called me, my wife found them in 3 seconds.

The #6 Improved big boy that I took a sheep and small bison with at HHC. I also carried it all over Alaska for self defense from bears and psycho crack-heads.
