I use mine a lot. I have used it on raccoons (8 of 'em), 3 dogs, a possum and a rooster.

I haven't done much to it .. cleaned it up a bit here and there. I am thinking about getting a .22 Magnum cylinder for it.

I thinned the front part of the trigger guard so I can get my fat fumbly finger in easier. Not sure if it really helps but it makes me think it does. I call the modification "The Half Fitz.'

The ejector rod had really sharp edges on it .. hurt you finger. I rounded the edges.

Note that I took the Owners Manual off the bottom of the barrel.

The cheapest ones I've seen even used

are $700+! Too many old men want them. lol

My saving grace is our S&W M63 4" kit gun. It too is cute and so handy. I've dispatched several animals with it (one wounded whitetail) and taught several new shooters with it. They usually want one but are shocked at the price. Quality costs.

I picked up a Ruger SP101 in .22, an 8-shot. Note the cylinder won't hold (8) .22 WMR as the case heads are too close, touching with LR. It has better sights so I'm using it more these days.

I think the Ruger Wrangler has a "Shop Keeper" model in the line up? Heritage too, although a bit cheaply made, I think they have one. All bigger than the little perfect Bearcat.
