The cool kids are not really interested in the big N-frames. It's their loss, maybe they will mature one day. I understand the new guns will not have the locks. But solid threaded barrels are also going away. New ones are threaded inserts with shrouds, Rugers too! Buy the old school while you can. A savvy S&W collector who thought he was doing me a favor pleaded (!) for me to start buying up all the Nickel plated N-frame I could find for a deal. He claims they are going to be like gold in the future?
