Off topic but would like to know. How many of you take a statin? Just had my annual bloodwork, and for the last two years my cholesterol is right within 2-3 points of being considered "high." Example: if high is 200, my cholesterol is 203-4. Not exact numbers, but I think you get my point. My Dr. wants to put me on a low dose statin. I'm iffy on that, as I am not a pill guy. Might I trim that number by a little exercise and diet mods? Probably. But that's hard to do. What's the skinny on statins, if you guys have any experience. I would appreciate the feedback.
