I figured a mistake.

I have been playing with these “rifled” inserts in my 20 ga. Savage. I first ordered a pair of .357’s. I thought I’d mark the base with a sharpie and regulate them by spinning them in the chamber to find the POA that was closest. That was just too much! It would kill a deer at 20 yds. easily though.

I traded one of the .357 for a .45 ACP. If I note the barrel used, left or right, and focus on regulating one “caliber” or the other, that should be easier. The things are addictive at $30 each. They also had 9mm, .40, 10mm, .44 Mag. and .45 Colt for the 20 ga. The 9mm for .410 shotgun is also tempting! No .327 for some reason.

But it’s cheap fun. And I’m certain useful on some level, just enjoying the search.
