I have found myself shooting more 45LC as of late, so I picked up these two Ruger conversion models.
One is a 5-1/2" stainless Bisley and the other a 4-5/8" Blackhawk. Both have the 45LC and 45 ACP cylinders.

I will spend the winter months customizing both revolvers to suit my taste. I have already replaced the factory grips on the Bisley with some Buckeye Burl as well as upgraded the front sight to a fiber optic and installed a Belt Mountain base pin. The gun will also get new springs along with an action job. The Blackhawk will receive the same treatment.

The Bisley will be used primarily with the 45LC cylinder shooting heavier cast bullets. The Blackhawk will see the 45 ACP cylinder getting the most use with standard target loads and hunting loads with 45 Super brass.

Very nice, I can tell you really enjoy the details.

I love Jim’s old trick of a 1911 mag as a “speedloader” for the ACP SA.

Very Nice
