I said that I had enough 357 magnum handguns. The truth is, once I got hooked on the 44 special new model flattop , I never looked back. Then one day a friend had an old model ruger 357 with the protective ears for sale in pretty clean condition and a 6 1/2” barrel. I never should have shot it. Sold. Then an ugly in every way 4 5/8” barrel 3 screw with the protected sight found it’s way home. I should not have stored them together, or at least should have checked the sexes because they have multiplied by 2, another of each of those length barrels but those are flattops.
I was going to get old ugly turned into something else but it shoots too nice. They all do.
