We are back from a week on a friend's ranch in Texas hunting deer and hogs. My son and his wife went with us. My son and I killed two does each and several hogs. We were not given permission to shoot any bucks but we greatly enjoyed watching some really nice ones during the week. I shot one doe with the .308 and one with the Reeder 45 Colt Backpacker. We had a wonderful time as usual and brought home plenty of meat.
