One fine wintry day I took a ride beyond Dubois Wyoming into the Shoshone NF -Pinnacles Peak wilderness area.
I drove southward on Warm Springs Road into the forest and then stopped when the snow appeared to be too deep for my vehicle to go. I knew discretion is the better part of valor at this point. My new Wyoming friends warned me to always have a survival kit in my vehicle with food, water, candles and a sleeping bag as people have been stranded for a few days in the desolate regions of the state.
I stepped out to record some images when I spotted fresh tracks.

At this time I had two firearms on my person. My trusty small game getter, the Smith and Wesson Performance Center 22 lr Victory with a Burris Fast Fire red dot and my SW Performance Center 10mm loaded with 15 rounds of 220 grain hardcast bullets.
I then decided to walk back to my vehicle. Low and behold, this thing actually walked to my right side and walked right next to the driver's side of my parked vehicle. I am not sure what he or she was up to but as of late, Wyoming has had a spate of bear attacks.
