Then file a smidge, de-burr. I have cheated using my lathe and LEE collet shell holder for their trim dies system. Some fellows use the harbor freight cut off saw, making their own length system.
You can make brass from ..450/.50 AK, .500 Max, .500 Linebaugh, or .348 Winchester. It will of course shoot the .50 Bowen Special.
Some so called .500’s (like the S&W) and .500 Special, .500 AE, 500 JRS (?) etc. are true .500” cartridges. The fore-mentioned .510 is actually .510-.512”. Some bullets drop at .515”. In my Reeders I always got best results using .510” bullets and sizing. Sometimes I had to lube in the Lyman 450 lubesizer at .512” (all they made close) then push through a Lee .510” sizer to finish.
