Surprisingly the Nitro calls for some medium burn rate powders. Cast molds for it specifically are few to be found but .50/70 Govt. bullets can be used. Nominal .500 Nitro is 570 gr. But the lighter .50/70 bullets (500 gr.) are just a bit shorter nose.
It’s mostly just a fun platform to shoot the big round to say you did. .510 GNR, .500 Linebaugh etc. bullets make nice light loads.
