Peter Martin was a regular on the old Sixgunner.Com site I ran years ago. A week before 9-11 he picked up a nice old S&W .44 Special and was looking forward to getting to the Range with it. He never made it.

A note I received from his wife ..

Sat Dec 8, 2001

Greetings. I want you all to know that they have recovered Peter's body from the World Trade Center. I received official notification last night at 9:00 (NY time). We are all grateful for the opportunity for closure, but our hearts are heavy. I wanted all of you to know. Thank you again for all your prayers and support during the past three months. God bless you all. With warm regards, Alice Martin (Mrs. PCM)

I still remember exactly where I was on that day

Lots and lots of good people lost that day.

I remember where I was when President Kennedy was shot

"We seem good at killing those who tell us to try to live in harmony and love one another ... Jesus .. Ghandi ... Lincoln .... John Kennedy ... Bobby Kennedy ... Martin Luther King .. John Lennon ... apparently we're not ready for that."
