Being a “gun guy” folks ask you odd questions…

A co-worker had his first Remington .22 single shot rifle. He wanted to know when it was made. Remingtons don’t have serial numbers pre-1968, it’s a letter code, usually on the left side of the barrel just in front of the receiver. His was built in December 1946! Cool.
