“Fit” is really important. You want the gun to jump up to the shoulder and your eyes already aligned down the barrel. You can do well with a cheap gin that really fits you! Parts availability might be a consideration. Some of these Turkish made guns are really nice values, but what if a part broke? Many companies market them for a couple years then drop them.
I’ve done some of my best shooting (which is not very good) with Remington 870/1100 shotguns. My friends who really shoot a lot 10,000-20,000 rounds a year like Beretta and Browning guns for more domestic models to seriously use. They tell me the Remingtons, with a little care, can hang right in there.
But play around, get what YOU want. Have fun and learn yourself. Trap and Skeet are polar opposites and totally different disciplines. Like Formula one and NASCAR. Sporting Clays is somewhere in the middle.
