Sure it's a dandy, the G30s is a G36 top on G30 bottom

If I remember right, the LA Narcotics Division loved the G36 but wanted more rounds, they were making their own mixed models. Glock got wind, and marketed the idea. The G30/29 is only 1/4" wider but man does it feel like a brick. The 30s had a fat grip compared the 36. Which is lots lighter, when loaded!
