so being there when it was filmed was just an accident on our part. The little camp trailer in the movie was where I was living when I got married. My wife and I lived in it for a couple weeks and then rented a larger place.

The people who were filming did most of it without permits or anything. Just set up and started shooting.

The cowboy bar scenes after the hippies are hassled were shot in Harold's Cave Creek Corral which opened in the 1950's and is still there, though it has been rebuilt since the movie scenes.
