I have quite a bit of brass. Only one small pocket gun in that caliber right now. Never been really excited about it. Bought the dies before I remembered my research. Anything over 100 gr., the brass starts getting thick while seating to a workable OAL. You can bulge the cases, causing feeding issues.
There are some interesting larger .380 platforms, some all metal! The Beretta 84 has always been keen, and I have always admired the Mauser HSC. I know several guys totally nuts over the SIG 230/232, and they are pretty, but expensive. I have a couple 9 Makarov (9.3mm actually) that walk on the domestic .380 pretty good. The .366 95 gr. pill scoots out at 1100 fps!
I’ve got tons of dies and projects. Long ago I decided if I see good die sets under $25 in cal. I own but don’t load for, in going to pounce.
