I have been thinking of getting a Super 14 22 WRM I own down to 12 inches and having it threaded for my suppressor.

I am wondering what would be the effect of cutting the barrel 2 inches?

Is it worth it? Just asking.

the .22 Magnum develops all its power in 12 inches. When he build his .22 Magnum machine gun it had a 12 inch barrel. The performance was amazing. I got to handle this gun.

Ever since moving out of the Bay State-( Massachusetts) I have been on a little suppressor kick.

Right now I have two suppressors. A Sig Sauer CDX-22 which can go on any of my 22 pistols and will work on 17 and 22 WRM as well as a new Silencerco Hybrid 46 M. I just sent a 10 inch Contender barrel in 44 magnum to be threaded for the "can".

I am elated to hunt deer and black bear this fall. In addition, in the state of Maine, you can trap bear. So I could get two black bears. One by hunting and another by legal trapping.

Send it on. We'll take care of it.

is the 22 Magnum. I have at least 5 or 6 rifles and about that many revolvers and semi auto pistols.
