With the folding Choate stock and short port hole it is awesome. Everything I've taken has been a one shot proposition. I had a 378 but it was way to much for what I do. Great shooter though and fun to load. I loved giving that to a non-initiate for a trigger pull!!!! Last HHC, my boy Nate wacked a nice ram with my 356 Contender pistol. Later on he said he thought the scope was off, well, I told him to carry my 310GNR carbine for me as I wanted to use the 356 on a ram.(Always wanted to use a gun bearer!) So, three shots at one critter and he didn't even duck. and no ram, "give me the 310" Boom, nose in the dirt. Sorted the scope on the 356 when I got home, It blew out when Nate got his ram, Things occur. Life is good, hunting is great, spending time with good friends is beyond description. (Andy S, in Marine that means GOOD). Look both ways before crossing the street and brush between meals. Looking forward to the HHC, brining the spousal support unit for the first time.
