He said that he was not guilty of anything and therefore felt no responsibility or remorse. He then told the interviewer that he never needs to check his prop guns because he trusts the prop guy.
This is just plain stupid and an attempt to lay this at someone else's feet.
He pointed the gun, it fired killing someone, he's responsible.
Send him to prison for negligent homicide.
