Although the guys that were interested were passionate. He made .510, .475 and .45 Customs. Not many of each. He also offered deep boring of existing .45 Cylinders that allows some 10 grs. more FFFg. He probably could still do that. I know he dose some select custom work.
Power wise the .45 is about as powerful as the .475 or .50 version and a lot less hassle. Get you a stainless .45 and let him priss it up. They can still be found in the $700-800 price range. That's not bad considering. I found a 270 gr. propelled by 777 at 900 fps was about the max power available. It was JUST enough for a small hog.
