first my Cape buff daring us to come any closer
[image] we walked up closer to him and I took the shot on the point of shoulder. He ran a few yards and I took another shot at about where he fell. The cartridge was a 454 with I think a 325 grain JSP bullet.
Capstick would call it Death in the Long Grass.

the 2 bullet holes...bottom one broke the shoulder. Top one blew up both lungs.

GNR with good friend and PH John Abraham. Without John I would never had a shot at this big buff. John has been my friend and PH for 29 years.

not bad for hunting in 95 degree weather with borrowed clothes, borrowed gun and ammo.
