Hey JT is 10mm factory watered down?

That's Glock 23 .40 S&W performance, excepting the 175 gr. Silvertip. My cast .40 loads easy hit 1000 fps and more with published data. I can't remember me checking a factory 180-200 gr. .40 load that was not running 950-1000 fps. (Try that out of a 16 oz. Kahr!)

Some of my personal 10mm loads (Longshot and AA#7) are 300 fps beyond those you show with shorter barrels? Did domestic ammo makers back off some to keep from beating 1911 platforms to death? I know the FBI and Colt Delta's had a rough time with the 200 gr. at 1200.

As far as long slides are concerned they are neat but having a barrel sticking out an inch or so beyond the slide garners the exact same terminal performance. FWIW. If you want the balance and sighting plane I certainly understand.
