44 Magnum Rifles with Lil Gun Powder, just curious...

I've used Lil Gun Powder in my 357 Magnum Rifles for years. Can easily get an extra 250 fps over H110/296. Not so in revolvers, but Lil Gun Powder is almost magical when given some barrel to burn in.

I've got a Ruger #1 44 Magnum with a 1 in 20" twist barrel. Will be interesting to see how Lil Gun does in this combination.

Also, to determine how this gun is throated. Cannelure, O.A.L. and roll crimp not so important in a single shot. Some claim crimp has to do with powder burn. Never really bought that as neck tension on the bullet is what matters. A taper crimp just fine on a #1.

Should also try this in my Henry 41 Magnum. I won't use Lil Gun in my revolvers, but rifles are a different animal.
