He did the North American grand slam at least 4 times....think about that...its at least 300K per slam IF you succeed the first time on each of the sheep. He really loved it and was a true sheep hunter who donated a lot of money to the foundation. Owner of Merrit Seed Company in New York. Lots of great folks are members of the Eastern Chapter and all of the member outfitters are top shelf. I won a horseback pack-in camp trip into the Canadian Rockies(Wilmore Wilderness Area)for a week...took the wife and two sons aged 9 and 11 and had a hell of a good time discovering the Rockies on horses...even seen some griz and moose. An awesome vacation.
