My boss resigned and it's got things sideways at the moment. I have experimented with some different brass and things but I'll get back to it soon. I also want to get some more H332 powder which I think will do really well. I like the burn rate and it works well in others too like the big .348/.50AK based GNR rounds. It is also a favorite of mine in the 7mm GNR. But classic straight wall round powders should work well too. 4227, AA1680, 2400 etc. Trail Boss gave .41 Magnum power easily with almost no recoil.
Huey helped me with some thinner walled brass to help a bullet size thing I was ironing out. Starline .35-55 brass is only 0.0075" thick walls. Some of my .30-30 brass was 0.0100" so you can see the flexibility available. The .38-55 is a little longer but can be easily trimmed.
The .38-55 chambers vary wildly so this gives some wiggle room for the bullets that range from .375-.380 in that caliber! Kudos to Starline.
