Sal in CA turned me onto Calhoon 30 gr. Double HP plated .224" bullets long ago. Boy does is step up a .22 K-hornet or .218 BEE! The Hornady 35 gr. looks too dumpy, but shoots OK.
Not sure what I'd do with a AP .22 Hornet but I'm willing to play.
If Ruger does the opposite with this one than they did in 1979 and the Redhawk, or XGI I'll spring for one. A reloadable .22 WMR sounds fun anyway. Someone brought a FN57 to HHC a couple years back and I shot it. Blasty and fun. (I wasn't paying for the ammo either, not directly) I enjoyed it and picked up several empties to play with.
Being a blow back action, I don't know if they can adapt the platform to any other round or variation. But I'm game for anything weird.
