I don't fully understand. I've been reading about buffer weights, gas system lengths, (Pistol, Mid-length, Carbine, Rifle) etc. Lots to it.
I read a 1/2 - 1 oz. heavier buffer lets the port stay open longer and lets the gas system blow all the gas out better. But you don't want to over do it. Also, of all things, my little 9mm blow back pistol AR takes the heaviest buffer of all at double the spec weight of one for a .50 BW! Very interesting.
Bottom line is function and accuracy. It will make a fine little play gun and deer/hog shooter.
