build any Trail Guns on the Vaquero. And why didn't I build them in larger calibers for critters larger than chipmunks. The answer to that is "I have no idea why not". Anyway for those asking, here is the first large magnum caliber Vaquero based Trail Gun. The gun is chambered in 44 Magnum for those situations where you might encounter something a bit bigger than a rabid chipmunk. It has a 5 1/2" barrel. It is finished in high polished stainless steel with fire blue small parts. It has the Gunfighter Grip with a nice set of burl walnut grips. The gun has had the Positive Performance Package and is very smooth and accurate. It has our front sight with the serrated back edge to keep glare down. It also has the Belt Mountain base pin for a tighter lock up. The Trail Gun is normally $1595 on the customer's base gun so with us furnishing the base gun it would normally run around $2200. It is sale priced at $1695.
