I have been interested in this cartridge for a while, but not been able to find any information on it. Gary was kind enough to send me his cartridge loading manual a few years ago when I expressed interest in his .445 SM creations.
In the book the 225gr lead bullet is the only option listed. There are three powders listed as well, H-110, W-296, and H-4227.
Are there loads for other bullets and powders?
Also the velocity in the book the max velocity is shown as 2230 for the 225. Is this correct out of a 12" barrel. What is the pressure at this velocity. That seems like it must be running pretty hot to get that velocity from this little cartridge.
